There aren't exatly a lot of 90mph 6"4' bowlers in world cricket. If Hamry doesn't play does England have anyone to exploit this apparent weakness?

Well, Broad is 6' 6" and is getting up to the high 80s regularly. I'd guess he'll be the first to have a dart at Hughes' nugget.

This is a docile old featherbed now and Onions is giving it his all but getting Zilch out of it.

This is where horseface should have ran in with a big heart and wanged in those yorkers with a bit of reverse.

But he didn't.

Good to know now, if so, rather than at Caerdydd.

he's taken 10 FC wickets all season, was never likely to be the finished article... showed promise today with the bat however.

Sure he showed promise with the bat. What's the bet that in 2 years, he'll be batting at 5 for Yorkshire, and bowling 5 overs a day of part time leg spin.

He's a 21 year old leggie with 150 FC wickets @ 34

Warne (who he shouldn't even be compared to really) didn't debut in tests for another 2 years.

This Lions game has been a very useful exercise. As Pete says, far better we learn about him now than expecting him to bowl out Australia at Cardiff

But will he improve? Who's coaching him? He's been playing first class cricket for 3 years now, yet he doesn't seem to have gone forward with the ball.

What a load of knee-jerking bollocks.

He was the leading wicket taker among spinners in FC cricket last season.

But no - clearly he's now on the way to being a specialist batsman...

Very selfless from Hughes. Sacrificing time in the middle to get Harmlesson in the team. What a guy.

Saving the middle of his bat for the Tests by just playing with his gloves. What a guy.

He gloved the ball straight into slips hands. That takes skill.

That was the easy bit. It was the managing to look like a tard against anything short pitched at his body that was most impressive. Way to go that man...
