I think what'll give England the shits is that Australia didn't even have to bowl well to pick up a bag of wickets.

There was some swing around and a bit of spin, but it wasn't like it was an against-the-odds rearguard action from England. They just batted too loosely.

Reminded me of the SA series last summer where the likes of Steyn, Morkel and Ntini were never quite at their best with the ball, but England kept giving them loads of wickets anyway.

Frustrating.

Haven't read the thread yet, but if was English. KP. Collingwood and Freddie should be taken out and shot at dawn.

Er?

WTAAS (acronym) 'Well, that's almost a sentence'. A possible response to almost any horrie post; this damns with very faint praise the grammar or spelling (or sometimes both) of the post it quotes. Originally derived from a Simpsons episode, an image of an old example of its use can be found at http://i41.servimg.com/u/f41/11/81/02/32/wtaas10.jpg

I think he partly means the "if was English".

Yeah, Prior was the only one who was really decieved by a beauty of an inswinger. Everyone else played a loose shot...

Mmm. I'd say that Strauss and Bopara were done by some clever bowling. In the latter case it always looks a loose shot, but if you're deceived like that it looks ungainly even if you get away with it.

Went to bed at 3-190 with KP and Colly looking comfortable. Quite happy to wake up to the score of 7-336.

Clearly we missed Gump. Dunno about KP, Colly and Fred needing to be shot at dawn, but clearly the Aus NSP and the Drunk should be. FFS.
