The crowds will give Shane Watson hell wherever he plays this summer.

Although with such a fragile body, there won't be much "play" for the crowd to hoot at.

I did mention it earlier in the thread as it was reported in today's newspapers. I doubt anyone expected his body to hold together for it anyway.

This weather is so strange. Today alone we've had overcast humid rain and now we have blue sky and rays of sunshine.

Unknown quantity for both teams and we still don't know how the pitch will play. I think England will only play Swann and have Anderson, Broad, Sidebottom and Flintoff as the quicks.

Australia would be best suited to play Johnson, Siddle, Clark and Hauritz.

Although, lets let them play Lee anyway Razz

I have a feeling the groundsman will be wary of getting pelters should it be a shocker and every effort will be made to kill the pitch totally

I'll be pretty gutted if its a flat deck.

This might be the Worst Ashes series in history if the groundsmen settle for 4 feather beds with everything riding on The Oval Test to gain any a result.

Aye flat decks and 1.75 decent bowlers on each side may make for a long series.

My ENG 11 for the 1st test

1- Strauss
2- A Cook(i don't really like him but he is doing a good enough job)
3- Ravi Bopara
4- KP
5- Bell(yes Ian Bell should play ahead of Collingwood AND Shah)
6- Flintoff(yes its a risk)
7- Broad
8- Adil Rashid
9- Foster(in the t20 world cup his keeping was very good)
10- Swann
11- Piyaz

My Aus side for T1:

Hayden
Langer
Ponting
Clarke
Hussey
Symonds
Gilchrist
Warne
Johnson
Clark
McGrath

Pipedream, but would probably do better than the probable XI.

Sounds like the side that lost the last Ashes series in England
