The "whatever''s left of the IPL" thread...
I can't be bothered starting threads for each game.

I see the KKR actually managed to win a game yesterday. I almost felt sorry for them but then I remembered that they're owned by that complete douchebag SRK.

Raj out of the tournament after another shocking batting display. Out for 101 and Kol got them with six down. Actually were six down for forty-six but Warnie didn't have his best day in the field.
It was sooky who let them down.

Is it bad that I've lost all interest in this thing?

I guess everyone is delighted to see Manish Pandey smash a century for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. It really is a "feel-good" story. An unknown one day, the hottest property in the world of sport the next.

the media keep banging on about manish's dad being in the army and how he nearly chose that career. his dad wasn't manoj pandey by any chance (the kargil hero?)...or have i got the name wrong?
anyway, deccan have tailed off pretty badly in the 2nd half of the tourney. with the talent at their disposal, they should have finished top easily. now they have to play delhi. i fancy deccan to roll delhi over. cant believe mcgrath, vettori warm the bench.
deccan to beat chennai in the final.

Pretty awesome stuff from Gilly.
maybe the two best batting lineups in Gambhir, Sehwag, AB, Dilshan V Gilly, Gibbs, Symonds and Sharma. Gilchrist outshone them all.

Gilly certainly has a sense of occasion.
