date or venue for shield final changing

it seems the shield final will be moved either for a new venue or a new set of dates.

Originally pegged for the MCG, the venue is to be used for a mega Bushfire Benefit on one of the days when the match would have been on

the bushfire function clearly must take precedence.

It seems that Foxtel who have the tv rights are insisting that the same dates be used and another venue found (probably the Junction Oval in St Kilda)

I heard the head of Public Affairs for the ACB give a totally incomprehensible interview denying all and then claiming all would be clear next week...it was 7.30am and this tosser sounded as if he had been on a port and cigars all nighter and was working up for more at his club...

if I was emperor of OZ I would ban inbred private school types from working for the ACB

UIVMM, there have been only two Shield finals at the MCG.

OP - your tone suggests some confidence that the billies will make the final.

As I've said, I think they've a better chance than not.
