Re: Malinga is back
He looked woefully out of rhythm yesterday. Too many 'hit me balls' were on offer and I for one would be surprised if he finds a place in the MI team for IPL.

He will get the rhythm back...
Lets hope he can still bowl at 90+

What you talking about?
He can easily be their greatest fast bowler ever.

I just can't fathom ur obsession with pace alone !!
whether bowling at 90 or 100 , if you are as erratic as Malinga yesterday, quality batsmen will murder him !

I would rather be an erratic 100 mph bowler than an erratic 80 mph bowler
howzthat?

Re: Malinga is back
WHo is SL's best ever? Vaas?
He can easily be better than Vaas...who BTW is almost a SLA.
I would really hate to see Vaas getting wickets in the upcoming series against Pakistan....

dude, my point is unless you bowl good line and length, batsman all over the world won't take much time figuring you out. Obviously pace matters ie pace with accuracy not like bowling five wides and 11 no balls

Obviously Vaas. He has the figures to show for it !
Malinga hasn't played a test for more than a year. With the slinglinging action, he's injury prone which already had a say on his career.
btw it's not that I'm a Maling hater. I too likes him but want him to be consistent with his line and length and not just rely on raw pace!

I reckon Malinga has managed quite well, his SR is normally excellent.
A fit Malinga along with the M and Ms and a solid opener can make SL a very very dangerous team.
