Forummers that irritate the . . .

. . . shit out of you for their childish posts, banal lists of favourites and for often being just generally incomprehensible.

I've kind of half lost interest in Cricket lately, so I hardly ever come here, but,

This is a really great forum. Kudos to you, sir... applause

I tried that. But I found conventional left-to-right worked best. Right to left it came out as .siht did enoemos erofeb emit fo rettam a ylno saw ti ,lleW

True, zat.

But I thought you perhaps meant - just as an example -

"had a flounce and did an overserious Sid Vicious impression because they were not on the list of (supposed) favourites ... " Razz

The rainbow fish was always good to see.

Dem. Pete is sound but it's fair to say I can only comprehend about 25% of his posts...

But what a 25%

Peter, I don't for one minute think that I deserve to be put on your nice list. I wouldn't put myself on your nice list myself. It just annoys me that there's already enough unpleasantness going on, on other threads and I feel that your nice forummers thread will add to the friction.

Perhaps it's possible that you often over estimate the importance of your views . . . and your lists Very Happy

Possibly.

But then again, perhaps you overestimate their solemnity?

And as for attracting venom. .... Isn't that what friends are for?
Or, a bit more seriously, I've already answered that point, I think, and don't agree. People can take "Flaming Bails" literally if they choose to. The thing is, that generally characterises them at least as much as the person they are flaming.

I don't much care - a couple of people apart - if people eff and blind at me, call me all the names under the sun. I am not here for vanity or ego boosts. For levity, cricket chat, occasional light sparring/ribbing, good humour, jokes, various other things.
