Think he was among those unlucky Aus players [like McGill, Law and Lehman in his early years] who were capable of and deserved more for the national team but were left out high and dry to circumstances and lack of place in the team.

There were times, so many times particularly during the late 90's that he should have played.

No question OP. I think if you asked him he'd say that all his dreams were answered when he played his first Test.

It was writing from my perspective and the benefit he would have provided to the team. I think his peak power period was gone by the time he was a semi regular.
