It has been a while since I've seen a headline about a randy peacock. It was very common a few years ago.

Perhaps most people who kept them got rid of the kinky bastids? Our neighbours had peacocks which, in mating season, would fly over the fence and launch frenzied attacks on our glass door.

Shirley MacLaine had a number of encounters with a randy peacock. A similar story to yours if I remember correctly.
