Well, I'd like to know where the buggers are. I drove the missus up to a tube station at Heathrow and there have been no gritters out. At a major airport. And the station was shut. This is just arse.

Imported Euro gritters would be handy. I've worked with some Poles and Portugese on construction sites and they know how to work.

Oops, I meant to say we had council workmen back then.... It was better when we had toen and borough councils and not these metropolitian faceless ones.

Anyway, I kerrumped to work in my pink spotty wellies and it was lovely, nothing better than powdery snow.

few students up and about at half 8, but i'm sure there'll be snowmen (and women) up later, to say nothing of the snowballs and stuff.
