Anyway, at least the 28 overs allowed us to witness a career saving 24*

Re: India v England, 2nd Test, Mohali, Dec 19-23
I agree that winning 1-0 is better than tying 1-1, but sh!t there is simply no excuse when a lead of 150 runs in the first innings is wasted for a draw when a 2-0 win is on the cards. I could understand Dravid playing for a draw in our last series in England since an overseas series was in question, but in home conditions with England's backs to the wall, there is simply no question of not being ruthless. India wasted too much time yesterday to give England a reasonable target to bat under pressure in a reasonable amount of time.
This must be the most criminal minded worthless test of all time after Sri Lanka's record scoring spree in 1997 at Colombo when instead of trying to make a 1000 runs, Lannka should have put India into bat on the last day and taken advantage of their fatigue and demoralization.....
What a waste of 5 days.........
Also it's amazing that after all these years the BCCI has no idea in which part of India a full 5 days of cricket without interruption is possible. One would have thought matches in Mohali in December and in Chennai in Sep-Oct would be a big no in terms of common sense.....

FFS, this thrash of a test really ruined my Christmas. I can't believe that we save our best only for Aus and let weaker teams get the better of us most of the times.

Just glad I didn't have to watch any of the last two days (or the first day for that matter). Made all the worse by sounds of things by inevitable fog and bad light. A real hangover of a test match.
Anyway England player ratings? I've equated them to christmas food.
Strauss- Brandy butter- came straight out of the fridge to score two cerebral tons.
Cook- Mince pie - not enough of him and getting a bit same-ish
Bell- a rotting discarded turkey head. Fielded well though.
Pietersen- fruit cake with thick icing. Quality but a little bit too rich.
Collingwood- Sprouts- functional.
Flintoff- Roast potatos- lovely and crispy but a little bit too hot and fluffy inside.
Prior- Red cabbage. Ho hum.
Broad- Turkey wing- flavoursome but messy and not enough flesh.
Jimmikins- Nuts
Panesar- Packet of dates
Swann- Sandwich made from leftovers. Can't fault it but it's not the real thing.
Harmison- Coal

Praying for rain? Sit on a dildo or something, jazzy-eyed cock-knockers - I just love how it was a done deal - AFAIC, you'd have had a shithouse time facing our bowling attack in those conditions. We'd have phucking rolled you. Qunts.

After watching Aus's inability to defend 400+ runs in both ODIs and Tests, I feel the same for Aus too. It should be BCA - Ban Crap Aus......

Ol' Vik.... like India are an amazing team - they're a phallisy. Nothing like a genuine #1 team. At all.
