That's some seriously sweet sh!t. Aired just three episodes here, waiting for the next one.

Aye. I watched the first episode of the second series last night, top stuff... mental how they can adapt the stories in such a contemporary way. If you don't want to wait, type 'project free tv sherlock' into google and away you go!!!

Thanks, will try if BBC muck around with their schedules too much.

Stephen Moffatt and Mark Gatiss have adapted the stories for modern times amazingly well. The casting is perfect too.

Aye, well it must be good then because all of them I've seen have been excellent. I'll let you know if I pick up on the clue - it's doubtful though... I'm half-sharp.

Aye, when I heard about it I was more than dubious, but that Benedict Cumberbatch is really quirky and the role suits him perfectly. Apparently they only 'saw' him for the part and I can see why. Martin Freeman is as excellent as ever as the normal bloke, he plays it so well which is probably tougher than it seems.

Aye, I just couldn't wait. I'd missed all the second series and the iPlayer should've sorted me out but nooooo they reckoned I should wait. I told them to f*ck off.

Sherlock's a badass. I wish they'd got his smack addiction into the new series. In the books he uses so he doesn't get bored but they've replaced it with cigarette, the pussies.

And Holmes would (mentally) beat Poirot like he was his daddy.

Holmes is the bizzle. Christie said Poirot's method of deduction and less clever sidekick is all based on Sherly anyway. Let's not pit two quality geniuses against each other. My nerves could NOT handle it.

I'm sure Lever and Jonty would be Mad Dogsing it but they're both too busy preening their vaginas.

Yeah, yeah, let's avoid it because you know what would happen. In your tiny moustachioed heart, you KNOW. And we don't need everyone to gather in the drawing room and have it explained to us.

Used to love Holmes books as a kid. Never seemed to read any of the Moriarty ones though, although I remember him mentioned. Still think the deductions based on a drop of semen in someone's eyebrow are absolutely brilliant.

Have you seen the Downey Jnr films? I saw a trailer and felt ill so I haven't bothered yet. Looks like they guy ritchied the sh!t out of it.

Totally loved the first one, haven't seen the second one. Thought Downey was pretty awesome at portraying him, espeshul for a Yankerello.

Walking Dead season two just wrapped up last night.

It's a bit of an uneven show - sometimes the writing is stupider than the characters (and they're not the brightest. Then again, you wouldn't have much of a zombie apocalypse-themed TV series if everyone quickly worked out how to survive and then spent the next 100 episodes quietly going about their day).

Decent finale, though. And, all in all, it's very watchable. Albeit - if the comics are any guide - about to get infinitely more stupid.

F*cking awesome programme, The Walking Dead. Aye, they can be munterish, but then so would many survivors in the zombie-filled apocalype. That's how it does. You'd be walker-chow, Dello.
