Anyone watching Dexter at the moment?
You bloody should be. I'm loving season three even more than season two. And I loved season two.

Stick with it. It's like the other two seasons - slow burners to start with and then... essential viewing.
Jimmy Smits is a brilliant addition to the cast.

Just finished watching season 1. I'm a bit of a Slowpoke, but if anyone wants to discuss it, then by all means.
I'm keen to jump to Season 4, because John Lithgow is involved, and he's a farking legend.

Re: Anyone watching Dexter at the moment?
Season 3 has Jimmy Smits I think.
My impressions of the main cast from season 1:
Dexter - Cool as hell.
Doakes - A bad-ass renegade,
Debbie - FARK YEAH
Rita - FARK YEAH
Angel Batista - Cool Hombre
The Fridge Killer - Pretty tame but I enjoyed the evolving plot.
Arthur Mitchell - Shut up, qunt.

Also, Jacob from L O S T played Rita's ex-husband.

You'd be mental to jump to season 4 - you'd miss out on so much plot that much of the brilliance of it would be wasted on you.
But I can confirm that Lithgow is as awesome as you'd expect.
Slightly worried about Dexter's future, though, as the show runner decided to move on to pastures new at the end of S4. Will the new guy f*ck it up? Probably. But it's been a cool ride.

Nah, I'll push through Dell. Thankfully there's 12 episodes per series, not the average 25ish which shows like LOST plunder out every year.

Yes, poor Jacob. Stabbed by Ben Linus and kicked into a fire, and battered by a frying pan by Dexter.
I vaguely recall him appearing in one episode of Prison Break (final season) and getting shot.
He's obviously television's go-to guy for dying.

You should do. Season 2's super tense.

Re: Anyone watching Dexter at the moment?
Yeah, he's been in a fair few things. Oh, he's in Supernatural too?
If Simkat and Skully check in on this thread, I'm sure they'll update us, if he's been kicked around or shot up in some shape or form.
