Seems like Vaughan still has a huge influence over the England selectors. I thought the performance squad was selected on merit. It's a squad for young players who have a possible England future. Not ex captains trying to prove they haven't lost it. Will he be paying his own way? He surely must do. If not, then what's to stop any first class cricketer in England requesting that they join the squad?

Vaughan hanging around the dressing room was a huge negative influence ...Hopefully KP tells him to forque orf

Why is he allowed to hang around the England dressing room? He hasn't been picked for this tour, so he should go somewhere else and get his batting sorted. The last think KP needs as he tries to start a new era for England is the ex captain hanging around like a bad smell.
