Will Australia slide in ODI cricket as well?
I think they'll remain extremely strong in ODI's, as their fielding is still excellent (Especially when Symonds returns) and their bowling is generally stifling with the likes of Bracken and Clark tying up one end whilst Lee and Johnson take the wickets from the other.
I wouldn't be surprised if hayden has played his last ODI as they look to build for the future with Marsh and Watson at the top of the order. Ponting might be closer than we think to giving up the shorter forms of the game as well. Seems like he's always got some niggle these days(and not just in his head), and he's missing more and more ODI/T-20 cricket as a result.
They wont slide as far in ODI/T-20 cricket as they will in tests, imo.

their bowling will not hurt them as much in odis. great batting and fielding alone can win you odis, unlike tests
