All I can say is, I never thought I'd see such a plank (Graham Yallop aside) lead the Australian side. Clearly he took over when it was a case of a team (that included Warne and McGrath) captaining itself.

FFS Drunky, just admit you farked up and stop digging a hole that will see you lose even more respect from the Australian supporters.

And someone should take a cricket bat to Nielsen's head to knock some sense into him.

The bit relating to, I'm not putting my interests above the team, which reeks of selfishness is interesting. Surely more telling though is his belief that we were on track to win the test match despite 'hiding' the quicks and replacing the uber profligate White with the innocuous Hussey and the innocuous, plus ill, Clarke.
