If they lose it's the coach's fault.
If they win the coach has nothing to do with it.
wrong on all counts, as usual

Am I.
Show me all the posts praising Kirsten against all of those slagging Chappell off.
Of course, you will now try and fudge the issue.

Re: End of an era
did anyone slag off kirsten for lanka? chappell is a very poor coach, he seems to have a miserable effect on every team he has been near. the latest being the aussies
no one needed to praise chappell for the odd win anyways. he did it all himself

In other words you can't find any posts praising Kirsten.
Either put up or shut up.

Taips and Trev. I have nothing against Kirsten. If he can take us to a bettre position no issues. I just feel that Ganguly will make a good coach as well since he knows this team inside out and undrstands the players and their strengths most. I can see him making a great coach. He has played all roles as batsman, bowler [ODIs] and captain well enough and knows most young players in current team who mostly he brought in and backed.

Thére's lenty of time for Ganguly to take up coaching if he wants to. He'll be commentating for Sky during the England series, and I feel that he's more likely to get into media work.

Both Ganguly and Kumble were full of praise for the Saffie legend. Ganguly went as far as to say Kirsten was a better version of John Wright.
Nice.
