Would be interesting to see Australia's approach today.

Unless they have completely lost their brains through their *rses with Dheli Belli I would expect them to play these 3 overs purely for the close as in any Test Match. Save the wickets for an onslaught tomorrow.

They have nothing to lose and if they go hell for leather and it comes off then the Indian's may fall apart in the field. That can be the only approach to take, but from the start tomorrow.

A collapse again for India at the end of innings. 4-21.

Ideally, after that Dhoni-Bhajji partnership, India should have given Aus a 400 run target with 5-6 overs to bowl at them today.

But India in driver's seat anyways.

This really is a roller coaster test match, quite a bit like Chennai '01. Hope that result remains same as well.

Australia will probably try to make as many as possible in the first session tomorrow given that after lunch for the past two days has proven to be problematic for the batsmen.

13 off the first over. Expensive start for India.

Time for Ishant to be given the first over of the innings. Zaheer has been very profligate for some time now.

Hmmm, 369 in 90 overs seems a big ask. Dos is carp against Zak, and Punter is carp against Bhajji. I predict a 160 run loss and B-G trophy to India until home series in Aus in 2011-12.

This will be the escape of the century, but I can't see it happening.

The coach confirms that it was the over rates which forced the bowling of an all-slow attack.

Ponting should be sacked as captain. What we all witnessed today can only be described as gross incompetence.

Firstly, as captain it is his responsibility to keep the over rate on track in the first place. Suddenly waking up to the fact at tea-time can only be put down to ignorance, incompetence, arrogance, selfishness or a combination of all four.

Then deciding to bowl Mke Hussey at the exact moment he should have been putting the foot down can only be put down to incompetence, gutlessness or selfishness (in order to save his own neck).

Not considering using the fast bowlers off short runs or bowling Simon Katich can only be put down to incompetence, stubborness or favouritism.

It's the most pathetic display I've seen from an Australian captain in at least 20 years.

Even after using those harsh words I still feel like I'm going easy on him.
