India v Australia, 4th Test, Nagpur, Nov 6-10 (II)

Post by Red on Sun 09 Nov 2008, 00:00

Interesting wickets start falling with pace at one end. But I suppose if you bowl long enough you'll get a few, especially with some of the rash shots they're playing.

Bhajji got to throw his bat around and let India have a crack at Aussies before stumps.

Harbhajan gone for 52 bowled by Watson. There's a lot you can say about him - most of it uncomplimentary - but that was a series winning knock.

F*ck. Bhajji gone.

Impressive bowling by Watson.

Aussie bowling line-up of
Lee
Clark
Johnson
Watson
Krejza

doesn't seem too bad now esp. for Aussie, SaF and English conditions.

Crazy has been hammered but now has the 4th best all-time debut in history. Only the 4th man behind Hirwani, Massie and Martin to take 12 or more wickets in his first Test.

If Toni declared now, India would get 6-7 overs at Oz before close, surely better than 10 + 11 scratching around for few runs?

Oh well, maybe Toni is able to see a few minutes into the future, unlike me. Good on 'im, and he got an extra 4 runs as I was suggesting he declare.

Not sure about that. Lose 2 overs for the change over. Left 6-7 as a MINIMUM to be bowled.

There is some detail which also puts the time of day as an absolute end to the day, but no-one understands that.
