Xavier Marshall to make a nice century and Benn to take a couple of late wickets to beat Pakistan.

X Marshall is a brilliant player to watch! Even i would like him, Gayle and Sarwan to score runs.
Would also like Taylor and Powell to RIP the Pakistani batting apart
...BUT at the end of the day i would want PAK to win by 1 or 2 runs/wickets.

Re: Pakistan vs West Indies, 1st ODI, Abu Dhabi, Nov 12
Prediction....
Windies bat first with Gayle, Chattergoon, Sarwan and Marshall getting us off to a fabulous start, and the score is 220/4 after 40 overs. Unfortunately, we end up with Shiv Chanderpaul and Brendan Nash batting in the death overs and we end up with only 260. Pakistan then chase it fairly comfortably after a difficult start to their innings.
I think this will be the Windies team (they will go for 2 spinners IMO):
Gayle
Chattergoon
Sarwan
Marshall
Chanderpaul
Nash
Baugh
Mohammed
Miller
Taylor
Powell

Brendan Nash is a left handed Jamaican batsman/part time medium pacer who started his career in Australia where he grew up, and failed to make the grade as an opening batsman for Queensland. He came back to the Caribbean a year or so ago, was placed down the order and has been performing very well ever since. He is a technically correct batsman who stays in for a long time but often struggles to get it off the square. Could be useful in test cricket but he really should not be near the ODI team, especially not as a replacement for a dynamic cricketer like Bravo. He is at least a fantastic fielder.
Nikitta Miller is an extremely talented left arm spinner, solid fielder and a useful lower order batsman from Jamaica. He has made an immediate impression since breaking into the ODI team against Australia. If he performs well he may usurp Sueliman Benn as the first choice spinner in the test side.

When opening the batting he is a fantastically fast and consistent scorer. I have less confidence in him at the death though. He recently won us a ODI by hitting 10 off the last 2 deliveries, but it only got that close because he didn't step on it early enough. This has happened to us on a number of occasions down the years, and it is why his record at 5 is nowhere near as good as his record up the order in ODI cricket.

WI desperately need a quality spinner(like almost all countries with the exception of SL)

Actually, I seem to remember in that game v Sri Lanka that the btsnmen at the other end were throwing their wickets away, and so Shiv (As usual) had to make sure that he was there right until the end.

In all honesty i would never put a batsman like Shiv in the list of greats EVEN if he scored a mountain of runs simply because he bats too slow.

That is true and it is a problem Shiv has to deal with far too often but even still he could step on it more quickly, especially as he has shown time and time again at the top of the order that he has all the attacking shots in his arsenal.

S Khan today got his 100th wicket in first class cricket in only 17 games yet selectors think Rao is better....
