FORTY per cent of Australians believe some ethnic groups do not belong in the country with one in 10 having outwardly racist views, a new study shows.

I always thought Melbourne had a higher rate of immigration.

1. Melbourne can't have a higher rate of immigration, only Australia can.

2. NSW is not he most racist state in Aus, it is merely the most stupid. Though having worked for some "opressed peoples" during the Woods Royal Commission, definately the NSW police force can't make it's mind up whether it's racist or stupid. (Where's Plod when you need him).

3. Having worked with Aboriginals for nearly ten years I wish they would take more interest in cricket than AFL. They be naturals.
