PCB official doesn't think India will come

Post by Red on Thu 25 Sep 2008, 23:09

I guess once its closest neighbour reneges on promises to tour, it means Pakistan will truly be ostracised and forced to play all its fixtures away or in neutral venues such as Dubai. Home ground advantage seems to have been lost for the foreseeable future.

Pakistan are about to become a touring side only - bit like the British Lions rugby team. Terrible shame - hopefully when the current turmoil calms down a bit some of the big cricket nations will find some guts. Sadly I don't expect England to be at the front of that pack.

PCB officials should find the BCCI's clitoris. Or G-spot.

The G-spot has been renamed IPL.

And rightly so. Can you blame them?

And what's "sadly" about it FFS?
The guys are all family men.
The locations being targeted are international 5 star hotels where they'd be staying....
The threats to air travel in and out of Pakistan are real ...
The indiscriminate explosions ...

No doubting it's a shame for both the Pakistani players and the PCB (bloody hell, I am getting soft now) but
that's life. If their cities are being blown up - they must expect foreign teams to refuse to play there.

i cant see india going unless the situation improves tremendously. a one-ton bomb hits the most heavily guarded piece of land in the country, just a few hundred metres from the pm, the president and the army chief. the players cant be too safe
