Well, for what it's worth, in my time I've spent an evening watching Chas'n'Dave playing cards (the qunts wouldn't let me join in), exchanged pleasantries with Zara Phillips, discussed the merits of Man Ure with Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman, shared a pint with 'Kevin Webster' and some of the chaps from Embrace, sung songs with Ricky Villa, stroked Claire Kings arse (she was blissfully unaware at the time), discussed the merits of drugs with BRMCs Nick Jago, abused Sheikh Mohammed and his entourage, bought paint off Paul Madely, exchanged winks with Adele Silva, had a drink or two with Tony Cottee at Newbury, been spat on by Sid Vicious, shared a taxi with Farokh Engineer, raced Frankie Dettori and his driver on some remote B road darn sarf, and spent an evening in the company of Neil Fairbrother. Throw in all the other cricketers, footballers, rugby players, jockeys and trainers I've met and the list is endless.
