Xavier Marshal... Another waste of talent?

Post by Kevin P is President on Thu 18 Sep 2008 - 4:02

Tests positive for drugs in the 2 week stanford camp.... columbo

Seems set to be another one of these promising West Indian's who is destined for great things yet seems on a path for self destruction...

Not a great statistical record so far but have seen him play some sumptious shots. Just another lacksidaisical (or however its spelt) waste of talent....

Just don't believe it - less than 2 months away from a potentially life-changing pay cheque and he does this!

Not first in the queue when brains were handed out then.

Am I the only one who'd f*cking love to see a game of cricket played between a drunk team and a totally stoned side?

Perhaps the umpires could be Ecstacy'd up and handing out free love and cuddles with every decision.

Dermot Reeve could do the commentary...

I'll do the dancing . . . you'll have to give me some of the umpires' stash though, Dello.

The Stoned XI would be strongly based around Warwickshire of the 90s wouldn't it? They weren't a bad side actually...

As for the pissheads team, perhaps England's 2007 World Cup team, with Fredalo as captain of course!

Against us he looked pretty aggressive and was feisty at times. His strokeplay was suggestive of considerable talent.

Lackadaisical btw, yet so many get this wrong both in spell and pronuciation.

Maybe his actions are symptomatic of the malaise which has so characterised Windies cricket of late.

You edited your post yet still had a typo in there. Rolling Eyes

When I'm at work I'm pushed for time so posts have to be completed expeditiously with no time to check for typos. BTW, with regards to lackadaisical, it's the use of lacksadaisical in both speech and written work which annoys me.
