Re: ICL signs bangladeshi team
If Bangladeshi cricket wasn't in crisis before, then it sure is now. You can kind of understand their point of view- These guys get paid not much to get thrashed every game. Why would they do that when they can get paid more to play in a team that has a chance of winning some cricket matches?
Of course the ICC will dawdle......

Re: ICL signs bangladeshi team
If this happens, either Bangladesh has to forfeit its test status or the ICC have to tell the BCCI that players who play in the ICL will not be precluded from domestic and test representation.

Re: ICL signs bangladeshi team
The first nail in the coffin of other poorer cricketing countries - all thanks to the ICL and the BCCI.
I wonder how Indians would react had the roles been reversed and the poorer relation was India with its players walking out of the Indian national team rather than the Bangles.
Effigy and matches manufacturers would be billionaires overnight!
Yep, only one solution - ban the hypocrites .... clearly they don't GAF about others.
Ban theBBCI BCCI
Ban India.

Yes. Now ICC/BCCI will have unban the ICL players. I suppose that will be terrific for cricket.
Very interesting times to follow imo.

Actually that is the logical thing to do.

Re: ICL signs bangladeshi team
Actually the logical thing to do is to combine the IPL, ICL and any Sanford type tournaments into one, set aside two months of the year (Mar & Oct) to play them. And then schedule international commitments around that.
But it ain't going to happen.

Or how about the ICC does it's job and states that international cricket has precedent over all domestic cricket anywhere....

Yes well er, plenty of players have done so. The ICL is filled mostly with Indian cricketers. Facts are your friend merlo.
And all the players named except Nafees and Ahmed seem to be has beens or rejects of Bangladesh.
