Is that what happens when you have a virus?
gmail does play up from time to time. Have you cleared your cache recently?

It's not just Gmail. The only page that will (half) open is this one.
I got this message when I tried to open cricinfo just now..........

www.cricinfo.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again.

Try deleting cookies and clearing cache and all that sort of housekeeping stuff and see what happens.

Mind, my motherboard went into meltdown just after I last deleted cookies, but I'm sure that was purely coincidental . . .

Or you could try this ABC forum (if it opens) and ask them. Although you'd have to register first. Although I could lend you an ABC tag if needed . . .

I wouldn't know where to begin. Sounds very complicated. I'll leave it for now. As long as this is open, nothing else matters.

I'll try that ABC forum if it persists. Thanks.

If you're using Firefox:
click on Tools
click on Clear Private Data
then tick whichever items you want cleared and tell it to get on with it.

There would be a similar option with IE.

Funnily enough I just this very moment switched over to IE from Firefox and unfortunately the problem is the same.
I'll have a go.......

It's okay now. Apparently, it was a general Orange problem, but I jumped the gun and reset the livebox and didn't think to confirm my user name and password.

A livebox would be better than a dead box.

Shouldn't take too much longer for RD to respond to this.
