Well, I'll respond to your desperate post-count-building exercise.

I'll probably get laughed at for this, but at the moment, spinning stocks in Australia are at a low, and the bloke's only just making his debut, but I reckon Ajantha Medis could be a superstar of the game. I'd love to see how he'd develop in the Aussie system.

There's plenty of things to laugh at you about but that idea isn't one of them. The only other spinner in world cricket worth taking is a cheating boggle eyed runt and if he played for Aus I would follow England.

We could all use a decent spinner.

Very Happy Jebus Woody, that is drastic. You must hate him.

England should take Kallis. That way, you have a 5th bowler, Freddie can bat at 7 and then you can pick your best keeper to keep.

I think we'd take Steyn or Morkel because our pace stocks are not what they were and I'm not convinced about Mitchell Johnson. We also need a spinner but it's too early to take a punt on Mendis and Murali is long in the tooth.

Anyone but the effeminate SA skipper.

We wouldn't take him in a million years.

And remember he'll always be a poor man's Hayden.

On looks? Chrystal or Danny Boy.
As a player? We need a decent spinner to replace Warne but there aren't any around, so . . . a good swing bowler, who can keep it tight when the ball's not moving. Can you think of one who isn't too repulsive?

Can't think of a good looker but how about Ajantha Mendis? So far 19 FC games, 111 wkts @ 14.54

Considering the future replacements look like being Katich and Jaques, I wouldn't mind having Smith if I was Aussie. Would mean I'd get a better captain as well.

Nah, Danny's right - Dale Steyn it is (until Mendis proves himself).
