Blacks in the english cricket team

was seeing some eng-ind odi match from the 90s on neo sports yesterday and england had small, defreitas and lewis in the side. was also when malcolm was a pretty regular member of the side. over the last decade or so i can remember only alex tudor getting into the english side. the new wave seems to be asians, loads in or around the english team

has the black community in england totally switched off from cricket? do they only care about football and other sports? is this in any relation to the decline in the windies? even in uni our cricket team had no blacks, only whites or asians

Honest answer- The decline in popularity of cricket amongst England's Afro Caribbean community IS directly related to the decline of the West Indies. Until about 6 months ago, there was just more money in football. Even if they only got a contract with a second division side, they'd still be earning the same as an England cricketer.

There's a few bright young black talents in the English game, mind. Look out for Maurice Chambers and Chris Jordan.

I think it's pretty clear that if you have dark skin and a beard, you're a terrorist.
