Sharma's not in the team, nor is Sreesanth, I think.

That'd be my team if everybody was available for selection.

No slackers there,, only Sehwag and Zaheer at times.
that looks good. maybe RP singh in for uthappa or sharma - yuvi/dhoni at 6/7 are wasted and pathan is good for a few in ODIs

Sharma and Tiwary should have been picked in place of Gambhir and Karthik. Hopefully we will see them along with Badrinath later in the series.

Come on. We'll be playing 12 ODI in a month and this team is only for first 3 ODI.
And on another note, why would you have Sharma and Tiwary (who hasn't even proved his fitness as yet) and not Sehwag??

Tiwary's playing in the A matches and so surely his fitness has no '?'.
Hope Sachin, Dravid and Sourav are rested for atleast half of the games, also wouldn't be a bad idea to rotate all the three spinners.
Badrinath has to be picked now. Patel has been in top form, Raina I'm still not sure, and *cough* Kaif anyone?

I know that the team picked is only for the first three ODI's, thats why I said I hoped Tiwary and Badrinath would be picked later.
Sehwag's had his turn it's time to blood new talent. He's played 175 ODI's scoring eight centuries with an average of 31.61, with his talent that is a very poor record. Although I'm sure he'll be picked again.

the avg is a tad low but bear in mind the strike rate of 97. also good for a few overs in ODIs. compare to jayasuriya whose avg is only 32 but again a high a strike rate (91). sehwag should be in all three india sides imo

That average of 32 of Sanath's is over 398 matches. But I agree with you that Sehwag should never had been dropped from the test team.
