SL players not paid for several months??

Um, which board said they'd give 'financial assistance' to Sri Lanka to help them through some tough times, and is now seemingly reneging on the deal, meaning Sri Lankan players aren't getting paid?

BCCI has already loaned some money to the Lankan board. I don't think even they could be expected to run the whole Lankan board costs now could they? Lankan board's corruption has seen them recieve money from ICC tournaments [WC2006, CT2006, WCT20 etc.], loans from BCCI and yet they needed to have a bank overdraft of a sum of 6 million to pay the players in the past. Then who is to blame for it? The BCCI? I don't know how much money BCCI has loaned but that said, the fact that the Lankan board has a begging bowl out shows the problem is not BCCI but Cricket Sri Lanka itself.

Yes, only people from Cuckooland would believe that the Lankan board is poor and unable to pay player salaries because only BCCI can loan them the money to do so. Definately. BCCI must be blamed for Lankan board corruption and mess as well, right?

lankan board is prolly broke due to its lavish spending on over the top corporate lunches...as i understand it, only fat arjuna attands these.

Even the PCB are showing more balls over this than the SL board.
