Where are all the links to racist behaviour by English fans?

"They started going on with it. They were saying 'You're a monkey, why don't you get back in your tree'. That's why I took offence to it. I can get over being called 'You black so and so'. I have heard that since I was a kid playing footy.

For what it's worth, it's hard to see how the matter could have been dealt with better by the Parramatta club, the police and indeed Petero.

The message is unequivocal, racial taunts will not be tolerated and, where possible, prosecuted.

To be fair, Henry is mostly making the point that PC has been called a black so and so all his life. Having said that, he (PC) doesn't seem worried about it so move on.

Doesn't seem worried about it or has been forced to tolerate it in order to achieve success in Australian rugby league?

It's not the sort of message you want to send out to young coloured Australian kids- You need to put up with racial remarks in order to make it to the elite level of Australian sport.

Now if only those kids Hayden swore at had shown the same stoicism and fortitude as PC....

Mate - you need to put up with racial remarks to get through primary school. It is the same the world over.
