Sound familiar?

Post by Henry on Tue 08 Jul 2008, 12:57

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,23990903-2722,00.html

It's hardly breaking news now, but it deserves a mention. I was reading 'The Australian' on the train on monday, and was disturbed to read Cinoniceva say that he was used to being called a 'black so and so' since his schoolboy rugby league days.

Gee, they've got things sorted in Aus.....

leeeeg usually imitates Americans. It's good to see them branching out and starting to imitate Indians.

Trev in swipe at Aussies shock.

FFS, the club involved is actually trying to find the people - has even passed their names over to police - and is seeking a life ban.

The same club issued a life ban to another fan who was guilty of racist behaviour two years ago. Read about it by clicking this link.

The best you can do is relate a further story where Petero talks about his schooldays. Not forgiving what happened there, but attitudes have hardened considerably to that sort of behaviour since then.

There are racists in every society you whingeing sookbag.

At least some countries are trying to do something about it.

Mind you, I'm not surprised it was Parra fans involved. They're mostly scum.

Being called a black so and so isn't as bad as being a Brazilian electrician in London.

"I was reading 'The Australian' on the train on monday, and was disturbed..."

That's not exactly news either.

the oz today has a picture of the two suspected miscreants who allegedly engaged in the racist taunting...the picture was given to the Oz by Parramatta RL...agree with other sentiments posted above..

of course Oz has its share of racists...however there is widespread oppsition to racism in sports and most aspects of our culture and for that matter decent standards are expressed in law.

Be fair Nerky, that's harsh.

After all, Trev was only up to the Mr Men books a few weeks ago. To graduate to a newspaper in such a short time is an achievement.

Yes, Trev's education is flying along. A few weeks ago it was Mr Men.

But only a few weeks before that it was the Sydney SPFSP. That was the real ground-breaking leap.

Nice to see Trev still using WUM tactic number 1 as his SOP.

Make a stupid, ill-informed, illogical post. Then not say anything else.

The incident occured, did it not? It was reported in all of Australia's leading newspapers, was it not? I'm telling the facts. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nothing more, nothing less.but leaving out the developments afterwards in my analysis, not providing any link to another allegation, and not mentioning anything that's already been tried to reduce the incidence of things like this because of my in-built bias and hatred of the residents of the country I live in, because ther'es nothing I love better than reinforcing the whingeing pom stereotype.

Fixed.
