BBBH sees a shrink
THE bad boy of AFL, Sydney Swans hardman Barry Hall, is out of the game indefinitely on the orders of the club's psychologist.
"Hally won't play this week - I'm not sure how long before he'll play again," Swans coach Paul Roos told a media conference a short time ago.
"He put it on the agenda that he was working on some personal issues during that first seven or eight weeks" of an earlier suspension, Roos said.
The disintegration of Barry Hall's personal and professional life ...

"The unfortunate side of it is that he hasn't beeen able to overcome those issues.
"I'm not sure when he'll play again."
"That won't be determined by me, but he is working with Grant" Brecht, the team psychologist.
Hall would have missed this weekend's game regardless.
Hw was facing another suspension after being charged by the AFL match review panel with attempting to strike Collingwood's Shane Wakelin.
Hall was cited for an incident in the second quarter of Saturday night's game at ANZ Stadium, when he raised a forearm towards Wakelin.
He was hit with a two-game suspension, but can reduce that to one game with an early guilty plea.
In laying a charge of attempting to strike, the panel effectively ruled that Hall did not make contact to Wakelin's head even though the Magpie defender fell to the ground.
But the panel deemed the incident as serious enough to warrant a reprimand.
That would usually clear a player to take part in his side's next game, but Hall's bad record - following his notorious strike on West Coast's Brent Staker in round four, which incurred a seven-game suspension - means the forward will miss Sunday's game against Hawthorn unless the Swans successfully win a challenge at the tribunal tomorrow night.
But if the Swans challenged and lost, they would also be without Hall for the round 16 game against Carlton.
The panel ruled the incident as intentional conduct and high, although the impact was not applicable.
The five activation points brought 80 demerit points and a reprimand.
But Hall's carry-over points raised the tally to 210 demerit points, which could only be reduced to 157.50 through a guilty plea.
That is still above the threshold for a one-game suspension.
Hall's latest indiscretion is a major concern for Sydney, given he was clearly frustrated against Collingwood and well beaten by Wakelin.
His indiscretion came in just his third game since returning from his latest suspension, and came less than a month after he vowed to prove to people that he was not a thug.
The charge is also likely to annoy the Swans given their values of team and discipline.
Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes missed the defeat to Collingwood because of suspension, and his absence was notable as the Swans failed to fire in the midfield.
But Goodes will be available to play the third-placed Hawks at the MCG.
Hall's charge was the only one laid from the last two games of round 14.
The panel said Collingwood's Travis Cloke made high contact on opponent Lewis Roberts-Thomson, but ruled he pushed the Swan to the chest and that his arm slipped up, "making incidental high contact".
The panel also gave the all-clear to a bump on Geelong's Joel Selwood made by Adelaide's Brett Burton, which caught the Cat high, because contact was unavoidable as both players approached the ball together.

Don't quite see the connection between the last Red post and this topic, but I'm no good at cryptic crosswords either....
And if WAGS is 'Wives and girlfriends' what the hell is RAGS?
