Who is currently the world's best test bowler?

Stuart Clark in my opinion. Those that say Steyn hasn't been tested against England and Australia can't then go and vote for Lee who has been pretty mediocre against England and doesn't play Australia.

Asid would be right up there if he could stay fit. And Murali's probably more valuable than them all, as he's the only all-time great spinner left in the game.

Kumble is not even in the choice?

Steyn reminds me of Waqar Younis of the early 90s. The guy was as unstoppable as an annoying wife with a verbal diarrhea.

Would tend to agree in principle with that list, save for the classification of Muralitharan as a 'bowler'.

Well apart from Murali they do. And he's not a bowler.

Lee is by far the best quick bowler. Disdain still has a lot to prove... though I feel that the series against England could be a defining moment in his career. In the spin bowling department, although Murali has all the stats in his favour, there's no way I'd trade him for Kumble.
