At the time, India didn't give a shit about T20, were whinging like a bunch of shits about T20 and only did a giant U-turn when their team won the championship.

Pretty much tipifies India.

$$ from the world cup goes to ICC whereas $$$ from IPL comes to BCCI.

I know they think they can, but they can't have everything.

Wink was tongue-in-cheek... ish. Just drew the parallel with India winning the WC in '83. Didn't really care much for ODIs until after then.

Just got ours at the first attempt after my mate had been phoning and plugging away online all day. Laughing

Did have to sit in a queue for quite some time, but I was only idling around on t'interweb anyway, so just left it in a minimised window.

The final was sold out, but have tickets for 3 days at Trent Bridge, one in the Groups, one in the Super 8's and one of the Semis: -

Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh ; Australia vs Sri Lanka@ Trent Bridge, Nottingham
Monday, 8 June 2009 (13:30)

D1 vs A2 ; B2 vs D2@ Trent Bridge, Nottingham
Thursday, 11 June 2009 (13:30)

Women's semi-final A1 vs B2 ; Men's semi-final E1 vs F2@ Trent Bridge, Nottingham
Thursday, 18 June 2009 (13:30)

The cricket will probably be pretty average as most T20's are, but they should be memorable occasions.

Happy with that.

Very Happy Cool Very Happy
