For all his failings, Bell doesn't strike me to be the type of person who'd piously go to church on a Sunday and then smack kids around the park with a wafted cricket bat the following day.

Then in a pit of fique, Vehemently deny such actions on the day after before slipping piously and surreptitiously into a confessional to unburden his sinful child battering exploits to a "friendly" priest.
