I'm sorry, but Rob Key isn't an ODI opener.

Have you watched any Kent one day cricket recently or even T20?

Look i'm the forum fattist but even I wouldn't rule Key out.

So (in the fattist league) is the conclusion Key > Sales?

Well we've won 2 of our last 10 ODI's against a team that we were supposedly 'favourites' to beat every time. So you're right that there is nothing to lose.

There must have been quite a few punters who cleaned up betting on the Kiwis during this series.

Aye, me included... ridiculous the odds even for the last game considering we were in disarray.

He's got a better chance of scoring us runs up top in a ODI than Bell or Cook, thats for sure, and he'd go at a better lick as well.

Admitedly, I haven't seen Key bat for a couple of years now. But I still remember the fat blob who couldn't hit the ball off the square against the Windies and NZ in the ODI tri series 4 years ago.

So he's a powerplay enforcer these days?
