They only burn effigies in cricket. Hockey no longer makes news and when this happened, a few fans and media took notice and mourned. People watching IPL couldn't be bothered to bother about how low a once World Champion hockey team fell.

The only positive thing that came out of it was the Govt. finally woke up from it's sleep and sacked the dickhead Hockey Dictator and President for life K.P.S. Gill, the reason why we are so lowest of the low in hockey now for 14 years.
