Now that IS good news.

Of course, in Australia it'll mean downloading it, because SBS won't show this series until sometime around 2053. (They've only just started the previous series here in Aus.) What's worse is that the creators of Top Gear nave decided to 'franchise' the show, so in Aus, we'll probably be sunjected to a cheap local knock-off of TG before we get to see the 2008 eps of the real thing.

Btw, My mate Bob* knows a good torrent site if anyone's interested in a membership to same...

Is the BBCi Player only accessible from the UK?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/

If not, it should be up on there for you to watch in the next 24 hours, Zat.

Not available from Aus BBB. Don't worry, my mate Bob* will download it before the day's out.

Always very entertaining and I'm glad they've made no big changes.

I hope they do another race.

Aye - MrsK doens't like cars but she loves the show. And my 3 year old can pretty much recite the first "Amphibious Cars" ep by heart. It is a bit concerting though when he uses the word "Oh Cock" in public.

In Oz, we have the Africa show tonight. Have seen it a few times. BabyK was pretty distraught when it looked like "Oliver" was going to sink in that river.

I thought it was a pretty good episode - but they spent too long on the SIARPC with that humourless bumpkin Justin Lee Collins and his professionally gay sidekick.

Aye. And for anyone outside the UK, whose friend Bob* got hold of the show for them, those two wouldn't even qualify as 'stars'. WTF were they?

"Comedians" who host the appalling Friday Night Project (which is now the Sunday Night Project in a desperate attempt to find an audience) - which is just a low-rent rip off of America's Saturday Night Live, with guest hosts and "skits".

But it's so unfunny and badly written and performed that it's almost embarrassing to believe that A) such a show could get commissioned and B) anyone would actually choose to watch it.
