Wake up and smell the f*cking coffee! 20/20 is what will drive new broadcasting contracts in the future. The revenue from those contracts will help support and nurture grass roots cricket - and preserve Test Cricket
I think it's shit. What's sanctimonious about that?

More scatological than sanctimonious, Dello.

It has more than a faint whiff of snobbery about it.

So if you don't care for T20 you're a snob and/or an idiot?
Or is that just if you disagree with you?

I don't give a rat's arse whether people like/dislike20/20 - it's entirely a matter of choice. But to bury your head in the sand and hope it goes away - like a few on here might wish it to do plays into the hands of pillocks like Modi who see it is a way of controlling the game for their personal benefit. That bloke makes Packer look like an amateur.

20/20s are rubbish. But they're not as rubbish as one dayers.

So much anger.
NFI what you're on about with the 'bury your head in the sand and hope it goes away' bit...I've said on MANY occasions that I think it's good for domestic cricket, but shouldn't be played at the international level.

Well apparently we can't since you launch hysterical shrieking diatribes every time anyone says anything even remotely critical of the format.

I hope t20 will go away.
I suspect that it will, eventually, due to the lack of substance to the product.
In the meantime, the players should milk it for all they can.
And if that means Bas will call me sanctimonious, then BFW.
