Looking forward to the County stuff far more.
Why wasn't the pyjama game played out before the Test series?
Stupid cricket administrators. Everyone I know just wants to get these out of the way and get on with the Saffie leg of the international summer now.

Nah, it'll be a winner. Double figures. The big one-O.
None of it will be about cricket, mind.
But, in a way, isn't that the real spirit of Twenty20?

Christ, there's some sanctimominious bollocks on here today about 20/20. Like it or loathe it - IT IS HERE TO STAY. Sorry about the capitals but it is just about the only way to communicate to some people.
Wake up and smell the f*cking coffee! 20/20 is what will drive new broadcasting contracts in the future. The revenue from those contracts will help support and nurture grass roots cricket - and preserve Test Cricket

Calm down Bas
, my only problem with T20 is it should stay at the domestic level and do exactly what you've said it should do.

But that's my point: it needs the expansion it is going to get to generate the revenue to protect the game we love.
Keep 20/20 at a parochial level, and it will go the same way as the old John Player League.

I hear T20 will halt global warming, save the whales, and feed the starving.

But apparently the one thing it can't do is give you a sense of humour.

Why can't you just get rid of it (or confine it to low IQ centres like India and the US), wear less clothes and feed the starving with the whales?

A bitter Wozzie suggesting someone else should get a sense of humour... Laugh? I nearly shat!

You mean besides dubbers, vomits, sozzies, subies, banjos, tozzies, the sun coming up, the temperature of beer, t20 cricket, MODIs, perceived anti-wozzie bias..?

I think you're mistaking 'bitter' for 'angry'.
