Oh dear me.

I just found a video of yours truly, aged 16 and quite drunk, getting into a dog cage and being tormented by his similarly drunk friends, on youtube. Apparently it's been up there for quite a while.

You should complain and get it taken down.

I found someone had posted a junior school class picture on Facebook which had me in it - I felt violated.

Is nothing sacred any more?

Thread of misery: my newspaper wasn't delivered this morning. So I had the unenviable decision of either re-reading yesterday's paper over breakfast, eating my breakfast with no kind of reading material at all, or throwing my routine off entirely by getting dressed, schlepping off to the newsagent's in the pouring rain to buy a paper and then having my breakfast.

I'm all out of order today. Bastards.

What is it with men and their newspapers? On a saturday and Sunday morning, there's a never ending trail of men in their jogging bottoms queuing for the paper.

Winkle Spinner....was the dog still in the cage? I've seen websites about things like that.

He wasn't, no. Not that I'm not up for that kind of thing, but the dog's got the same name as me, so it would have felt a bit incestuous.

Dogs don't mind about such things. That's the beauty of them!

BTW, Winkle Spinner is an odd name for a dog.

He's an odd dog. And possibly the most singularly malodorous creature I've ever come across, too. I'm sure he must have to put some effort in to smell that bad.
