The season opener was an excellent double epi.

I think you can just pick it up, sk. What you've missed...

Spoiler:
The only stuff you've missed is that 13 and Taub have become permanent members of the team with Chase, Foreman is the team leader under House after being handed his job when the boss was recovering from the loony bin, 13 and Foreman had a fling but have broken up which has left some lingering problems (largely resolved in last week's epi), House has let Cameron go, and Cuddy is in a relationship with a younger man - Lucas (who was House's private investigator a season or so back)

Latest epi - S06E11 - Remorse

Spoiler:
Hot psychopathic patient is admitted with the usual array of bizarre symptoms - and she takes on 13 and messes with her big time. House, as part of his recovery, wrote an apology to a uni colleague he'd played a prank on, and the guy shows up and tells him how much House's prank farked his life, causing House to go on a massive guilt trip - only to find out the guy was bullsh!tting. 13 and Foreman bump heads but end up resolving their differences.

House solves the psycho's puzzle, who is not sure she likes the outcome.

Top epi.

Thanks Skully. I've only just realised the show I caught the other night was the season opener. Quality acting - I've missed that.

Spoiler:
Is there a quick answer (but feel free to provide a lengthy one!) as to how/why House ended up in the nut house to begin with?

Easy answer:

Spoiler:
His Vicodine addiction (and his underlying love for his boss, and guilt at the death of Wilson's girlfriend Amber) makes him have the mother of all hallucinations. He thinks he has an affair with Cuddy and then announces it to everyone in the hospital foyer. He also sees Wilson's dead girlfriend everywhere, and has meaningful conversations with her. It makes him finally admit that he has a real problem, and he is admitted in the last scene of S5.

Thanks. You're a gem.

Spoiler:
I'm trying to watch the Band of Brothers DVD set so didn't really want to plough through House S5 at the same time - unless it was 'must see'. Think that last ep might be worth d/l, though.

I'm sick of Cuddy's boyfriend, a seriously redundant character who adds nothing to the show.

Aye, he's a smartarse little qunt. That's just a general comment, not a reflection of my views on E12, which I have got but haven't seen.

Any good?

I enjoyed it. Except that said SLQ is in it.

Foreman isn't happy at something House does.

Another great episode, though I agree with the SLQ comment. I still think that there's no way that relationship would happen in real life. This is definitely the best series for a while; the last 2 or 3 weren't very good.
