This show is utterly brilliant. Had Season 1-3 for Christmas, just started Season 3 and without doubt going to invest in Season 4 right away.

His interactions with Chase and Foreman have had me in laughing fits.

Pure Genius.

As a medic I have to say it really is a good show; IMO one of the only good shows or series to come out of the cr*p field USA. Although it is well written it is HL who makes it. Otherwise it would just be another slick committee written show (CSI etc...ok so that one is not utter sh1te but so formulaic.)

The one thing that gets me annoyed about the show though is the refusal of the writing committe/network to move away from the formulae. So they break the mold with an anti-hero...great, and then they have to have all these good-looking, photogenic....but the worst of it is SANCTAMONIOUS, CONSCIENCE-RIDDEN JERKS as his juniors.

Just screams "American Network Series" to me. If only they had had the courage to go the whole hog and had something that trashed the formula.

I still watch it avidly though, better than quite a few of those lectures I sat through some time ago.
