TBH, I'd prefer to have an iron-gloved, 40 average batsman who is capable of being in partnerships than some 'catcher' who's going to average sub 25 and make our tail have a shaky feel to it.

Waste of a pick if they're considering him as a specialist willowman.

I haven't heard of any howlers. His drops were crucial, but I'm personally willing to think of them as an aberration. Until he f*cks up again.

An odd move to recall Prior considering he has been just as shit as Mustard at (trying to) pinch-hitting at the top of the order. Still, he's in Moores' book club so it will be no surprise if it happens.

Just because he comes back doesn't mean he has to pinch hit.

It's only of late that England have been handicapping themselves with the idea that they need a keeper opening the batting - an odd policy, given that they've found it nigh on impossible to find a keeper good enough to bat in the top seven.

Plop Sussex in at six, happy days.
