KP et al to get their wish!
here.
All in all not a bad thing IMO, as will keep our best players playing for England.

I do like the bit about, it will give the England players a chance to find some form before the English summer?
Shows how much the ECB know, when they think a 20:20 hack will help their players find form. Its the worst bit of spin I've ever seen I think. Basically it stops them all farking off for the big bucks!

What was the story about that in England ...he told the commentators at the IPL he had a two week window when he wasn't required by his county so he was at the IPL ...Did he even play a game in the IPL?

He asked Hants to release him to play for a two week period. As his employers they agreed. Think he played a game or two.

Just checked ...One game ...seems like a waste of time really ...but I expect he was well compensated ...Is he likely to play for England again?

He should do, he's done pretty well all in all.

Besides, some wag needs to be able to compare his name to an infamous Spanish pretend-dance for ageing businessmen.
Reason enough for selection.
Actually, he is pretty handy. Esp. with the bat.
