Hoggy or Tremlett ahead of Broad, imo. But there's not much chance of Fred, Jonah, and Tremlett ever being fit at the same time.

Will Fred be fit by the time they pick the side? Even if he is, he will be short of match practice - and he was already woefully short of runs. So, no - I don't think he will be picked.

SiJo doesn't yet have the stamina for a five day test - leave him until later in the Summer.

Shah - maybe, but my money would be on Bopara replacing Colly if a change to the batting is going to be made.

Monty by in large saved his Test Career with that performance at OT. If he hadn't made an impact there'd be whispers of Graeme Swann getting an eye in on a test debut.

I was holding the axe over Monty for a few minutes there....

Regards Fred - he's not going to be fit for the NZ 3rd tests - his aim has to be to play cricket between now and the start of the SA series.

Maybe play him in the last few NZ ODI's, dunno?
