"I'm 37, we've got some good youngsters coming through and I'll be 38 when I've retired. I think I've had a good innings and it's time to call it a day."

Happy retirement Goughie.
Solid, dependable bowler and a competitior with lotsa nous, who always gave his team 100 pct.

Vale Dazzler. A great contribution to English cricket in the 90s.

Apparently Orange has stopped all work in England as a tribute to Goughie.

Finally I can watch cricket on TV again without having to turn the colour right down.

Adios Tango - you were a little podgy ledge.

Well done Goughie. If only we had a few like you in the current England team. I just wish he'd retired gracefully from the international game rather than going on for 12-18 months too long.
