Fallacies of 2020 cricket
That all the games are close.
Average winning margin in the 51 games played so far in the IPL: 25 runs OR 6 wks (with 17 balls remaining).
If you count a 'close' game as being won in the last over, or won by less then 10 runs, then in the 51 games played so far only 15 have been close. Less then a 1/3.

Having a Zimmy moment? (HAAZM)
Twenty twenties steal your wife and car?
As for your original contention i.e. your claim that someone claimed all 2020 games are close, let's go.
First, how many IPL matches have you seen to make your contention? Or are you just playing the stats guru and speaking out your ar$e?

Well that’s bull...there is constant prattling on here about how much more exciting and close these games are to ODIs.

Edited for the exact numbers/ percentages:
I might if I have to drum some facts into your head.
Here's a few for starters.
1. So far, of the 53 IPL games that have happened, 39 IPL games have ended with the margin of victory of 10 runs or less. That is 75%.
2. Of these 33 have finished within a margin of 5 or less runs. That is just under 63%
3. I have watched a few of these games. How many have you watched? Answer the question please.
4. Your team is playing in the Windies. So here's a Windies acronym - HYMC.

Re: Fallacies of 2020 cricket
And as for your numbers, it seems to me that you are extrapolating means into actual matches played. So a higher average on a few games skews the overall analysis.
