Surprised this isn't there.
Give us a break ... I've just done an update and have called for suggestions. Skunky will get in.
Sorry, was talking about original glossary.

Re: Glossary suggestions, amendments, commentary.
The original glossary is nearly 5 years old ... there's been minimal updating since 2005.
I'm grateful to Kwik-E-Mart for the weekend off.

Feltch then?
That one is OK for the former coach. Towards the end of his tenure I think he was probably 'auto-feltch'.
Direbyshire will also get a guernsey.
Have you checked out 'hearsay' yet??
I have now. Nice.
You could put Direbyshire in but I thought they were supposed to be funny and true.

Re: Glossary suggestions, amendments, commentary.
Lardy, that sounds about right. It was around that era.
I have vague recollections of telling one of the less astute among the ABC leftovers that a dodgy ODI tournament happening at the time was being bankrolled by a mega-rich Greek ouzo brewer called Dmitri Papadropalotakraponos Jamodis or something, and said Einstein expressing less than total satisfaction after Googling for this guy for about a day and finding nothing.

Re: Glossary suggestions, amendments, commentary.
I may be wrong, Fred, but I think I may originally have suggested YAMODI, only to be gazumped by someone else - maybe you, maybe taily or OP?? - suggesting the far more satisfying 'JAMODI'.

JAMODI was mine. I vaguely recall seeing YAMODI (which might be just the German phonetic version of the same word, ja?) around at roughly the same time but I wasn't aware of gazumping anybody or being gazumped.

Maybe that's it. JAMODI is better anyway.

Trawling through the glossary, it seems a pity the date of first entry wasn't noted.

Re: Glossary suggestions, amendments, commentary.
Apparently the old ABC forum still exists somewhere ... maybe someone with a few years to spare might like to trawl through all those posts by cricketjunkie and Jorja to find the origins of 'hella' and 'I hate you guys'.
Even the sookometer and mudging might be hard to date; the C4 fora seem to have disappeared forever; the servers apparently wiped.

Nice variation on pie throwing, speaking of which...MacDill (n) Stuart MacGill. At around 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288 per delivery, his economy rate (like his continued selection) is a fraction irrational.

Re: Glossary suggestions, amendments, commentary.
I'm pretty sure the 'sookometer' first appeared on Nath's forum (where Boofer had his 'F****** gun' sig which was the cause of so much merriment) during/after the 03-04 PC final after shortkeeper kept whining about how unfair it was that Victoria didn't hand his mob the final on a plate. Of course shorty's microscopic sense of humor was outraged....
I've still got a 'favorites file' of old ABC threads.
